Much Love Studios (formerly Willow & Birch) attempted to purchase the former Spaced Out Studio property at 3256 W. Bryn Mawr. You can see a complete proposal and business profile here.

 

They requested a zoning change from B1-2 to B3-2 so that they could obtain a special use permit that would have allowed them to continue to offer their paramedical body art services. These include restorative tattoos for cancer survivors and burn victims, for example. The studio also offers yoga, sound baths, candle making, crafting, and other holistic well-being services.

They planned no physical changes to the exterior of the building.

This proposal was discussed at the HNPCA Quarterly Meeting on August 26, 2025. Detailed minutes can be viewed here. HNPCA members expressed their opinions via a survey, and the Board submitted this letter of non-objection. We shared additional updates at our November 2025 meeting.

As of January 2026, it is our understanding that Spaced Out Studio has rejected Much Love Studio's offer. They are now re-listing the building and seeking a new buyer.
